Levi Johnston Couldn’t Bare It

Republican drama maker and Bristol Palin’s baby daddy Levi Johnston is another one of those celebrities who really have no reason for being famous.  He has no skills other than forgetting to use a condom and knocking up a politician’s daughter.  Nevertheless, the public loves a train wreck, and Johnston is the all in one package (no pun intended).  Trying to milk his 15 minutes, Johnston has shot a spread for Playgirl magazine, which has been highly anticipated due to promises of full-frontal nudity and Sarah Palin’s expression of utter disgust towards Johnston’s porn-scapades.

But of course, being the naive, fame-whoring nobody that he is, Johnston chickened out at his Playgirl photo shoot last week, People Magazine reports.  Seems as though somebody got pre-performance jitters (which didn’t seem to be a problem when it really mattered).  Johnston’s manager (why on earth does he have a manager?!) first reported that his client would bare all in the upcoming issue, but a Playgirl spokesperson confirms that there will only be “glimpses”.  Perhaps there wasn’t anything too impressive to be photographed?

The article also gives us a peek into the interview Johnston gave to Playgirl, discussing Sarah Palin’s invite to Johnston to join the Palins for Thanksgiving dinner, which he declined.  He thought that it would be “awkward”.  Maybe he doesn’t realize, but dinner with the almost-in-laws is always going to be awkward.  It doesn’t matter whether you posed nude or not, you’re still the douche that got their daughter pregnant and uses it as leverage to pose as a “celebrity”.

I’m not quite sure what the fascination with Johnston’s “Johnston” is.  Sure it was the offending appendage that impregnated Bristol, but I’m certain that becoming an accidental teenage father isn’t something to celebrate…lest photograph.

But just in case you couldn’t wait any longer, Johnston’s Playgirl spread has been moved up to be published this weekend, rather than the original print date of December.  Huzzah.
