According to Time Magazine, sexual dysfunction is becoming more common in women.  Apparently one in ten women experience it.  A German pharmaceutical company claims they have the antidote to this problem. It’s called flibanserin and there is no telling if it will be approved for treatment of female sexual dysfunction in Canada or the US.

The Time article also stated that some physicians believe sexual dysfunction in women is a myth.  Which to me is preposterous. If a guy can’t get it up, it’s practically a medical emergency.  If a woman can’t get in the mood, it’s a myth.  Clever but sexist. Viagra has been around for years now but a pill to improve her libido isn’t even in the works in North America. Thankfully I did my research and found some natural foods that may help women who experience sexual dysfunction.

Women’s Health Magazine just came out with a diet to “enhance your chemistry, fuel you libido and intensify your orgasm”. For the why and how explanations click the link to Woman’s Health at the top of this posting. The diet includes foods listed below:

1. dark chocolate

2. chili peppers

3. banana

4. sushi

5. red wine

6. whole grains

7. coffee

8. pomegranate juice or fruit

9. asparagus

10. red meat (lean)

11. cheese

12. mushrooms

13. broccoli

So ladies, if you need a boost in the bedroom here is your grocery list.  I can’t guarantee any of it works but it’s worth a shot. ;)
